The Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) continues to call for the elimination of endorsement consideration fees charged by the Allegheny County Democratic Committee (ACDC).
In a concurring piece published March 8, 2023, The Editorial Board at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette called the practice "a pay-to-play policy that undemocratically restricts the number of people who can realistically run for public office. The committee should scrap it."
